About us

GESTORIA SICORIS was founded way back in 1969....
It was in a small office on the terrace of the legendary Cosmos d’Escaldes-Engordany building that Rossend Marsol i Clua set in motion the long journey of our popular and much-loved consultancy firm.

Rossend Marsol i Clua, Rosendo, Sicoris, the Wizard of Fontargent, the Lawyer of the Poor..., administrator, journalist, poet, rhapsodist, social and cultural agitator.Born in Artesa de Segre in 1922, he arrived in Andorra in 1958 after fleeing from Franco's regime. After working in different professions, he began to work as an administrator in 1969, carrying out all kinds of administrative tasks, procedures and paperwork; seven days a week, three hundred and sixty-five days of the year.

The popularity of Gestoria Sicoris can be explained by the unique and versatile personality of its founder. A correspondent for newspapers such as La Mañana, Mundo Deportivo, Noticiero Universal and La Vanguardia, and regular collaborator with the Andorran Press; in the world of radio he was also responsible for information and opinion slots at Radio Andorra and Radio Valira; in the public cultural arena he published various books of poems: Cel i Muntanya (Sky and Mountain), la Ciutat dels Tres Castells (The City of the Three Castles), Festa Major (Local Festival) and La Terra dels Valires (The Land of the Valires); in the social sphere he founded Esbart Sant Romà d’Encamp, recovered traditional festivals such as l'Ossa (the Bear) and the Contrabandistes (Smugglers), organised the Caramelles (Easter singing festival), created the Kings Parade in Escaldes, and presented the Andorran Literary Night from the year of its creation in 1978.…

He did all this while also attending daily to his clients, who were Andorrans, residents, businesses, employees, the rich and the poor.

In the 1990s, he moved the business to its current location on Carrer Prat de la Creu in Andorra la Vella with the collaboration of several employees, especially his eldest daughter Conxita Marsol who, due to her qualifications as a lawyer and her dedication to the firm'sloyal clients, has continued the task started by the much remembered Sicoris, who died on 17 January 2006.

The important transformation that the Principality of Andorra has undergone over recent years in all aspects, and which has been essential to adapt to the globalised world in which we live, has meant that all companies - especially those in our sector - have had to adapt and evolve. For us, this represents a challenge that will help us grow together with the country and with our clients.

We are proud to say that we have a team who are willing and able to support the new generation of clients from different geographical backgrounds, with their different demands, objectives and problems. At the same time, we remain constantly faithful to our long-term clients who have given our work meaning and have made the long journey of our firm possible.

It is for this reason that today we are able to offer a wide range of services that, in practice, translate into a global consultancy service in legal, labour, accounting, taxation and business matters; the creation of Andorran companies, foreign investment companies, passive or active residence permits, and so on.

We will continue to adapt to new situations, remaining committed at all times to maintaining the principles established by our beloved Sicoris half a century ago: to assist and accompany the client at all times and in all circumstances.

While recognising the strong family component that has always been a characteristic part of Gestoria Sicoris, two managing partners have now joined us who, along with Conxita Marsol, hope to serve our present and future clients for many years to come.
